Hello. My name is Nastassja, and I was born with a unilateral cleft lip and palate. But the thing is, I don't really mind. One of the nice things about having this disorder is that it's so easy to treat. Even better, most of my treatment is free! But this same treatment is also seemingly endless. The initial repairs, speech therapy, more repairs, annual trips to visit cleft specialists, plastic surgery (blech), jaw surgery... I'm grateful that I have had few complications, thanks to competent physicians and luck.
So, when I got an assignment in my 10th grade health class to do an in depth study project on any health issue or concern, or any disorder, disease, or disability, I almost immediately knew what I wanted to do. So, here is the result of my health project: Nastassja's Cleft Lip and Palate Site. Now that you're introduced, where do you want to go?
